Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Dale and I, along with our son, Elliott, recently returned from living in Japan for the past several months. We are glad to be home to reconnect with family and friends, especially during this time of year. While we were away, we added a new grandson to the clan, with yet another new grandson having been born just before we left. Talk about Christmas joy!

Our family is so blessed to be sent by Hamilton Hills Baptist Church, Fishers, Indiana, the church where we served for the last 20 years as Senior Pastor and wife. As you know, last June, we began working with Word of Life Fellowship International. I am currently serving as the Director of WOL Japan and the Regional Director of WOL Pacific Rim. It would bless us tremendously to have you praying for us over the next few months prior to our return to Japan in late July. We have three pressing requests:

  1. For the individuals on our 10-most wanted list to become Christians
  2. For the staff and students of our English-immersion discipleship school in Japan; a group of 25-30 are coming to the States this February for a one-month term of intensive training
  3. For us to effectively represent the spiritual needs and interests of Japanese people, along with the billions of others throughout Asia who have never heard of our Lord

Will you pray for us as we recruit and raise funds with these things in mind? It would be one of the most meaningful Christmas presents you could give us in return.

Please accept a PDF copy of Christmas Dreams, an eBook I recently wrote and published through iTunes and Amazon Kindle (linked here and at the top of the column on the right). Christmas Dreams is a short, but rich study of the five dreams Matthew includes in his account of the Christmas Story. Four of the five dreams belong to Joseph, the husband of Mary and supposed father of Jesus. The fifth belongs to the Wise Men. In Christmas Dreams, I compare the five individually to five other dreams found in the Old Testament, yielding some surprising insights and applications. If you’re looking for something fresh to ponder Christmas anew this year, Christmas Dreams will provide you with material to use and share as your heart sees fit.

I sincerely hope Christmas Dreams is a blessing to you! While the linked copy is in PDF form, if you are averse to opening such, please go to the iBooks section of the iTunes store or to Amazon.com, where you can download Christmas Dreams for just 99 cents. If you feel led, please share Christmas Dreams with others by also directing them to the iTunes store and Amazon. We also welcome any positive reviews you wish to write.

Once again, Merry Christmas!
Randal and Dale Gilmore, and Elliott

PS If you would like to contribute to our ministry, you can do so by purchasing Christmas Dreams on iTunes or Amazon. You can also make tax-deductible contributions through Word of Life or NipponNow.
