NEW for Christmas! “No Room”—in the Kindle store on Amazon!
Each year at Christmas I write a mini-ebook to focus attention on some feature of the Christmas Story. I love the accounts of Jesus' birth as recorded in Matthew and Luke. I read them with awe, never tiring of the discovery that comes from pouring over them in detail and pondering.
One reason why the story of Jesus' birth is still so fresh to me is because of how pivotal it is in the drama of God's grand plan for the ages. Another extends from our ministry to Japanese people. So many Japanese have never heard the details of Jesus' story and why he came into the world. When someone tells them, they listen with obvious curiosity, and sometimes with childlike wonder. Such active listening can't help but return to the storyteller with energizing encouragement to tell it again, and again, and again.
This year's Christmas ebook is entitled, "No Room." Everyone knows that Jesus was born in a manger, since "there was no room in the inn.” But many turn Jesus’ plight into calls to make room for Him in their hearts. Few consider the significance of the space denied to Jesus at His birth as physical space. "No Room" makes that connection.
Check out “No Room” in the Kindle store on Amazon to learn why no physical room matters in relation to God’s kingdom and the coming restoration.
