Announcement and Urgent Prayer Request

First the Announcement. SYME USA returns to Indianapolis this coming February. Do far 5-7 Japanese students have indicated they will be attending. We are excited about the students coming, since so many of the ones who came last year indicated what a positive experience it was for them, along with the big impact it had on them spiritually.  The exact dates the students will be here are February 8 – 24, 2015.

Now the Urgent Prayer Request. We have several pressing needs connected to our Japanese students coming for SYME USA. Please pray for:

·      A Place for Us to Hold SYME Classes – We are hoping to use a church, however, our bottom line is space large enough to have two separate classes. Please pray for the Lord to provide in a timely way according to His will.

·      Home-Stay Families – We will need 5-7 Homestay families to host students for the 16 or 17 days they are here. I believe the families who hosted last year were just as blessed as the students! This is a great way to minister. Please email or message me if you are interested in serving the Lord in this fashion. A flyer with more information appears is included below.

·      Other Opportunities to Serve – If you would like to serve in some other fashion while our group is here, please let me know. We also need help with snacks, with serving lunches, and with a few other odds and ends.

We have some great young people coming this year! They are just as excited to experience Christian friendships here as we are to have them! Thanks for your Christ-like love for them! I am reminded of Philemon 7: “For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother(s), because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.”
