Psalm 107

Notice that I placed the opening and closing verses at the top and bottom of the chart respectively. The four illustrations of the Lord's goodness and forever mercy are indicated in the interior columns. The four illustrations flow through the two different refrains the Psalmist uses. Immediately above the four illustrations are the psalmist's statements about the hardships the Lord brings on. Immediately to the left are statements about the blessings and redemption the Lord provides.

The chart is organized to help you understand how the psalmist structures his poem and thereby encourages our contemplation on the Lord's goodness and forever love, which in turn stimulates our thanksgiving and thanksliving.
